The prosthesis intends to make the body recover its functions. The surgical intervention that the body displays has an obscure side where the human conditions disclose, such as fragility, temporality.
Sometimes, I mix acrylics or oil painting with digital painting, as in this work. For this piece, I first created the artwork, “Prosthesis Study 11". (1) I scanned it, and created the digital artwork in a red environment.
