As in the myths, this painting shows a bicephalous in a strange dialogue. One of the creatures is aware of the observer, who is looking at the scene. In return, the personage’s gaze intends to wrap up the observer such as some characters do in “The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp” cretaed by the grand master, Rembrandt (1606-1669, Dutch Republic).
